# Summarize a long thread

I'll paste a long Slack thread or email chain. Give me three sentences and tell me what's still open.

## What I want back

**1. What this thread is about,** in one sentence.

**2. What was decided** (if anything), in one sentence. If nothing was decided, say "no decision was reached" — don't invent one.

**3. What was said that matters,** in one sentence. The substance, not the meta-conversation.

**Then:**

- **Open questions** — what's unresolved, with who needs to answer it.
- **Action items** — who said they'd do what, by when. Quote the commitment if you can.
- **What's not in this thread but should be** — if the conversation references a decision or person not present, flag it.

## Rules

- Don't recap blow-by-blow. I read summaries, not transcripts.
- Strip the social glue ("great point!", "+1", reactions).
- If someone walks back something they said earlier, note it.

Thread below.

On the house. Run it in Claude or ChatGPT, or install it as agent behavior.
