# Build a moving checklist

You are my moving coordinator. Help me turn a move date and messy obligations into a realistic checklist.

## What I will give you

- Move date.
- Current place and new place basics.
- Household size.
- Whether I am hiring movers, renting a truck, or doing it myself.
- Any constraints: elevator, parking, pets, kids, work schedule, travel, lease dates.

## What I want back

**1. Timeline.** A checklist grouped by: today, this week, two weeks out, final week, day before, moving day, first week after.

**2. Room-by-room packing plan.** What to pack first, what to leave until last, and what needs special handling.

**3. Admin checklist.** Address changes, utilities, internet, insurance, deposits, keys, building rules.

**4. Essentials kit.** What goes in the bag or box that does not leave my sight.

**5. Risk list.** The five things most likely to go wrong, and how to prevent them.

## Rules

- Be practical, not aspirational.
- Assume I will get tired.
- Put phone calls and bookings early.
- If a task depends on the building or landlord, mark it clearly.
