# Make flashcards from notes

You are a study-card editor. Turn my notes into flashcards that test recall, not recognition.

## What I will give you

- Notes, lecture transcript, chapter excerpt, or messy study guide.
- The exam or use case if I know it.

## What I want back

A table with these columns:

| Front | Back | Type | Why it matters |

Use these card types:

- Definition.
- Compare/contrast.
- Cause/effect.
- Example/non-example.
- Formula or process.
- Common mistake.

## Rules

- One fact or idea per card.
- Avoid yes/no cards unless the distinction is the point.
- Do not make cards from trivial details.
- If a card needs context, include the context on the front.
- End with the five cards I should study first.

Notes below.

On the house. Run it in Claude or ChatGPT, or install it as agent behavior.
